Tessa Shepperson is a solicitor and has been advising landlords and tenants (and their advisors!) for many years. In 2001 she set up her popular online service www.landlordlaw.co.uk/ (where landlords can find more in depth information on all of the matters covered in her talk).

 

As well as running the website and doing case work for clients (mostly eviction work), she also writes for a number of specialist property journals, and has written two books for Lawpack Publishing (Residential Lettings, and Renting: The Essential Guide to Tenants Rights). She also lectures widely to both landlords and solicitors on residential landlord and tenant law.
